Thoughts from my dad

My dad is called upon quite frequently at his church do to the children's message.  He does not take this job lightly and always comes up with amazing ways of teaching the kids something important about God.  This week it was about worship.  He told me he came up with a prop while sitting outside in the back yard relaxing.  He was looking at the corn stalks and noticed how their 'arms' were all raised up to God, growing up and praising the creator.  Then he said to think about all kinds of plants and how they all have it figured out, in order to grow, they must grow up to the sun, the source of their light, the source of their every being.  If corn stalks have it figured out, how hard is it for us to figure out?  Wow!  I don't think I will ever look at another corn stalk again without thinking of praising our God for all he gives for us.  Thanks Dad, for not only teaching the kids, but for teaching us!
Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
